Quince stuffed with walnuts. Baked.
4 quince, peeled, cored.
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1. Core the quince before using.
2. Fill the openings of the prepared quince with the walnuts, then place the quince in baking pan.
3. Pour the water over the quince, then brush the tops of the quince with honey and butter. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 40 minutes or until tender, occasionally basting the quince with the juices. Remove from the oven and baste once more.
